China News Service, Beijing, March 27 (Reporter Ruan Yulin) The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released data on the 27th showing that in the first two months of this year, China's logistics industry total revenue was 2.0 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%.
Analysis indicates that the scale of China's logistics market continues to expand, achieving steady growth at the beginning of the year, further demonstrating the resilience of modern logistics development. Currently, the structure of the national logistics market is accelerating optimization, the pace of transformation and upgrading in segmented fields is accelerating, and the empowerment effect of new quality productivity continues to emerge. From January to February, the average logistics industry prosperity index in China was 49.4%, with the industry as a whole steadily recovering and the operational prosperity level generally stable. Key survey data shows that from January to February, supply chain contract orders of key logistics enterprises increased by 21% year-on-year, and the integration of supply chain services is accelerating penetration.
From January to February, the national railway freight volume increased by 1.6% year-on-year; among them, container shipment volume increased by 10.5% year-on-year, and the supporting role of railway freight continues to strengthen. The proportion of road, water, and railway freight is basically the same as the same period last year, the proportion of air freight has slightly increased, key material transportation is efficient and smooth, and the comprehensive transportation efficiency is good.
From January to February, cross-border logistics vitality continued to recover. Affected by changes in regional geopolitical situations and increased uncertainty in traditional shipping channels, the advantages of stable and efficient international logistics channels such as cross-border air freight and China-Europe trains have become more prominent, becoming the core alternative choice for foreign trade logistics. From January to February, the international route air cargo and mail transportation volume reached 712,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%. Analysis indicates that new business formats such as cross-border e-commerce logistics and air express are accelerating expansion, and the stable operation of China-Europe trains and Central Asia trains shows that the stability and competitiveness of the international logistics supply chain continue to increase, laying a solid logistics guarantee for expanding domestic demand and responding to external uncertainties.
