II. Product Characteristics and Functions
Urea is a high-concentration, quick-acting solid nitrogen fertilizer with a nitrogen content of up to 46%, making it the solid nitrogen fertilizer with the highest nitrogen content available. It usually appears as white translucent granules, which are easily soluble in water. In soil, urea is converted into ammonium carbonate under the action of urease before being absorbed by crops.
