CNAUTO Went to Thailand for Investigation and Research to Boost the Upstream and Downstream Development of the Rubber Production Chain

From May 10th to 15th, the CNAUTO rubber team went to Thailand to start a 6-day investigation and research. The main purpose of the trip was to hold talks with Mr. Huang Wenquan, President of TAVORN RUBBER GROUP, the world's largest natural latex manufacturer, and Mr. Wang Weitao, President of Greater China Region, to further discuss and exchange views on the market status of overseas raw materials and future cooperation. At the same time, it extends to the downstream to conduct research on the tire, automotive equipment and auto parts markets in Thailand and the ASEAN market.

On May 10, the FDD-Global CNAUTO rubber raw materials team was invited to participate in the 2024 annual meeting of the Thai Rubber Industry Association held in Bangkok, Thailand.

On May 11, the team visited Energy Engineering Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to learn and exchange the CNAUTO platform as scheduled.

Energy Engineering Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was established in 2017 and is located at Forum Tower 12A 184/30, Ratchada, Bangkok, Thailand. The company focuses on serving the industrial field, and is a technology enterprise dominated by EPC project general contracting, technical services, engineering design, equipment manufacturing, environmental protection and energy saving. The company has successively undertaken the whole process of equipment installation services for projects in OTANI, SENTURY, LLT TIRE, NEW THAI WHEEL, BOTON conveyor belt, JUNMA (Junma Chemical Fiber Thailand), Shinawatra University, automotive industry, automotive supporting and other projects.

The two sides reached an agreement to actively expand the Southeast Asian market, assist China's tire and auto parts industry to go overseas and do a good job in in-depth supply chain services, and provide higher quality, more comprehensive and more efficient services for Chinese tire companies and auto parts companies in the cross-border operation of the ASEAN market, which is a solid step taken by FDD-Global in the overseas cross-border strategic layout.

Sun Jing, Vice President of CNAUTO and General Manager of Rubber Trading Center, introduced the CNAUTO platform to overseas customers. CNAUTO is a cross-border platform of the vertical automotive equipment industry belt under FDD-Global, positioned to "provide one-stop cross-border comprehensive services for the industrial belt", and uses the digital integrated service platform as the carrier to build a cross-border transaction ecology of the automotive equipment industry belt with "transaction settlement, warehouse and network linkage, flexible manufacturing, supply chain delivery, and R&D quality control (including testing lines)" as its core business.

On May 13, the team visited Thai Eastern Group, Thai Eastern Group Holding (TEGH).

TEGH is a comprehensive agricultural products processing enterprise, using clean energy in the production process, based on the principle of mutual benefit and reciprocity, with sustainable development as the business philosophy, the development of enterprises and of the community in parallel, and always pay attention to the protection of the environment. TEGH's business is divided into 5 categories: rubber business, palm oil business, renewable energy and organic waste treatment, logistics business and joint ventures.

The two sides had an in-depth discussion and exchange on the impact of the EU’s EUDR Act on the rubber industry and potential opportunities at the same time, and the next step will be to jointly serve Chinese tire companies to stabilize and expand the European market.
