DD’s CNAUTO Team went Deep into the Khorgos Port to Lay Out a New Model of "Automobile Warehouse Sales" of China

On April 20, Zhang Wei, Vice President of FDD under Guolia Corporation and the head of the automotive equipment industry chain, Xu Jian, Vice President of the CNAUTO platform, and Cai Nan, General Manager of the supply chain delivery center of the CNAUTO platform, went to Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang, went deep into the port of Khorgos Free Trade Zone, promoted the construction of the cross-border automobile demonstration base of Khorgos port, and laid out the "the integration of exhibition and sales by placing the warehouse at the back of exhibition hall" mode of CNAUTO platform. Yang Xiaoping, General Manager of Xinjiang FDD, accompanied the whole process and organized the company's business backbone and local partners to conduct in-depth work exchanges.

Located in the western part of Xinjiang, China, and bordering Kazakhstan, Khorgos is an important port connecting the five Central Asian countries, reaching as far as Russia and radiating to the Middle East. With the strong rise of Chinese automobiles in recent years, the export volume of finished vehicles has reached a new high, and the export volume of Khorgos Port reached 350,000 units in 2023, accounting for 30% of the total export volume due to its unique location advantage. Behind the prosperity of Khorgos automobile exports, there are still a large number of challenges that need to be solved, such as various shocks caused by the external international situation and policy changes, various risks caused by unmatching information and lack of trust, and various industry chaos caused by disorderly competition, which are always plaguing the local car dealers. In this context, the CNAUTO platform starts from the core pain points of the industry, cuts in from the delivery of the industrial chain, and empowers the cross-border automotive equipment industry chain of Horgos port with the "platform, data and technology" capabilities of FDD of Guolian Corporation.

The CNAUTO team came to the China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Border Cooperation Center, visited 1886 and other well-known automobile export trade enterprises, and inspected the exhibition hall resources of the International Convention and Exhibition Center. Then came to the Khorgos import and export distribution center, which is less than 800 meters away from the sixth-generation national gate of the port and the Khorgos international passenger station, which is a large-scale bonded supervision warehouse and non-customs supervision warehouse integrating functions such as exhibition hall, warehousing, logistics, supervision, sales and others.

In the in-depth exchange, as an expert in the automotive industry for 17 years, Cai Nan, general manager of CNAUTO Supply Chain Delivery Center, said that Khorgos is an important port for the export of China's automobile industry chain, and the demand for more convenient, safer and better platform services is getting higher and higher, and it is one of the core nodes of CNAUTO's global strategy for platform layout. The launch of the CNAUTO second-hand car port cross-border base project will provide a digital one-stop solution for traditional automobile export traders, solve a series of pain points and stuck points such as bonded warehousing, digital customs clearance, and flexible delivery, and enable traditional car dealers to achieve "zero threshold" cross-border.

During the period, the CNAUTO team also conducted in-depth exchanges with the heads of Horgos Rong Media Center, Huayu Group, Xuanwei Group, Xunhang International, Henan Hongguanda and other enterprises, and reached an agreement on the cooperation of the "automobile warehouse sales" model.
