On the afternoon of April 3, 2024, the Global Value Chain Exchange Symposium for Developing Countries was held at TBEA Building, Fengtai District, Beijing. Wang Peng, Vice President of FDD-Global and General Manager of Investment and Financing Division, and Xu Jian, Vice President of FDD-Global CNAUTO, were invited to attend the meeting and have interactive exchanges. The conference was presided over by Dr. Mendu, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Department of the Chamber of Commerce, and Feng Qiang, Executive Secretary-General of the Chamber of Commerce, delivered a speech.

The event, hosted by the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce, with the theme of "Developing Countries Global Value Chain", focused on exchanges on the cooperation and development of industrial and value chains between China and African countries. More than 50 participants attended the meeting, including teachers from the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce, the Training Institute of the Ministry of Commerce, representatives of Chinese cross-border enterprises, and representatives from political, business and academic circles from Ethiopia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Iraq and other countries.

During the speeches and exchanges between foreign representatives, the participants exchanged views and ideas on China-Africa cooperation in manufacturing, agriculture and service industries. Representatives from many countries had a strong interest in the CNAUTO cross-border platform of Guolian Co., Ltd., and had a warm interactive exchange on topics such as platform cooperation and participation mode, overseas resource layout and allocation, investment plans in non-countries, and cases of scientific and technological innovation achievements.

At the end of the symposium, Secretary-General Feng Qiang made a summary report, he pointed out that the China-Africa Chamber of Commerce is a national and international chamber of commerce organization jointly initiated by the United Nations Development Programme, the China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges and the China Glory Society Association. It is hoped that with the support and efforts of all parties, we will continue to strengthen the capacity building of China-Africa non-governmental chambers of commerce, improve the quality of service to member enterprises, actively promote two-way deepening exchanges between China and Africa, promote South-South cooperation and third-party cooperation, strive to create new opportunities and common interests, and become a trustworthy partner for Africa's development and enterprise growth.
