Liberation Daily Beijing, March 11th Special Dispatch - Reporters learned from the Shanghai delegation's press conference on the 11th that the Shanghai delegation to the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress submitted 3 proposals and 142 suggestions to the conference. Among them, 2 proposals and 5 suggestions were submitted in the name of the delegation.
Shanghai delegation spokesperson and Deputy Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, Liu Shijun, introduced that the 3 proposals submitted by the Shanghai delegation are all legislative proposals, including 2 delegation proposals involving regional coordinated development and free trade zone legislation; and 1 proposal jointly submitted by representatives involving amendments to relevant clauses of the Science and Technology Progress Law.
Among the 142 suggestions submitted by the Shanghai delegation, there are 5 delegation suggestions involving support for the development of offshore finance in the Shanghai International Financial Center, accelerating the construction of a new system for a higher level of open economy, further supporting the construction of the Shanghai (Yangtze River Delta) International Science and Technology Innovation Center, strengthening the construction of a national-level legal service system to ensure stable and long-term overseas operations of enterprises, promoting the digital empowerment of the Shanghai International Shipping Center construction, and enhancing global shipping resource allocation capabilities. Additionally, 41 representatives jointly submitted 137 suggestions involving fields such as economy, technology, rule of law, society, culture, and education.
