In order to implement the Three-Year Action Plan on Promoting Digital Commerce (2024-2026), the Ministry of Commerce has recently established the Technical Committee for Standardization of the Digital Commerce Industry, which works under the guidance of the Department of E-commerce and Information Technology of the Ministry of Commerce, aiming to promote the standardization process in the field of digital commerce and promote the high-quality development of digital commerce. The Department of E-commerce and Information Technology of the Ministry of Commerce is the director unit of the Technical Committee for the Standardization of the Digital Commerce Industry, and Guolian Corporation and the China International E-Commerce Center, the China Electronics technology Standardization Institute, the National Federation of Urban Industrial Trade Center, and the Hangzhou Standardization Institute have been elected as the deputy director units, and the China International E-Commerce Center is the secretary-general unit.

On April 26, the Ministry of Commerce issued the "Three-Year Action Plan on Promoting Digital Commerce (2024-2026)", proposing that digital commerce is an important part of digital economy with the most rapid development, the most active innovation and the most abundant applications. It is the specific practice of the digital economy in the business field, and also the implementation path of digital development in various fields of business. Through the key actions of "strengthening infrastructure by digital business", “expanse consumption by digital business”, “promoting trade through digital business", "advancing industry through digital business" and "opening up with digital business", we will take the development of new quality productive forces as the starting point, innovate the path of digital transformation, improve the effect of digital empowerment, do a good job in digital support services, build a digital business ecosystem, comprehensively improve the digital, networked and intelligent level of business development, and help China's digital economy continue to grow stronger and bigger.

The "strengthening infrastructure by digital business" in the "Three-Year Action Plan" clearly proposes to establish and improve the digital business standard system, make good use of the Digital Commerce Industry Standardization Technical Committee, issue guidelines for the standardization of the digital business industry, accelerate the construction of standards in key areas of business digitalization, promote the implementation and application of standards, and improve industry management and service quality. Strengthen the business credit system and brand building, and promote the improvement of the quality of digital commerce. Compile compliance guidelines for e-commerce enterprises, guide enterprises to operate in accordance with laws and regulations, and promote the standardized and healthy development of the industry.
