Connect Global Supply Chains, Bring Business Together in Fengtai: The 2026 99 Global Chain Business Festival Opens in Grand Style

On September 8, the opening ceremony of the 11th 99 Global Chain Business Festival and the Fengtai Opening-Up and Development Conference was held at Beijing Garden Expo Park. More than 2,000 representatives from over 1,800 leading domestic and overseas industrial-chain and supply-chain enterprises, business organizations, government agencies, associations, embassies and consulates in 32 countries and regions gathered for the event. Witnessed by all attendees, IBI  officially launched the online centralized procurement program for the 11th 99 Global Chain Business Festival.

At the event, IBI founders Liu Quan, Chairman, and Qian Xiaojun, Chief Executive Officer, joined Zhou Tongwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fengtai District Committee and Acting District Mayor; Wang Zhiwu, Deputy Party Secretary and Commander of the 12th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps; Cai Jin, Party Secretary and President of the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing; and other government and business representatives to launch the online centralized procurement program for the 99 Global Chain Business Festival.

During the presentation on Fengtai's opening-up and development, Zhou Tongwei introduced Fengtai's comprehensive development advantages, including its opening-up strategy, the industrial positioning of Lize Business District, supporting facilities for key platforms and opportunities for global investment cooperation.

Several major projects were launched, including the Global South Countries Fengtai Overseas Expansion Service Center, the Digital Economy Committee of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services and the new AI Global Digital Intelligence Applications "1+2" system.

Strategic cooperation agreements were signed between Fengtai District and CATL, and a cross-border AI community was established. Fengtai Culture and Tourism Group signed a series of cooperation agreements with the Beijing Branch of China Development Bank. Linghang Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EgyptAir. The Pakistan-China Business Center and Kazakhstan-China Business Center platforms were also signed and launched.

During the project-signing and key-project launch session, IBI's Doodoo Platforms signed 20 regional industrial digitalization co-development projects, 29 Digital Cloud Factory projects, 59 digital supply chain coordination projects, cooperation agreements with 46 industrial-chain and supply-chain enterprises, 35 international expansion projects and 13 strategic cooperation projects with domestic industry associations and international organizations. 12 key initiatives were also released.

IBI's Doodoo Platforms, together with representatives of industry associations and industrial-chain enterprises, presented "Outstanding Partner" plaques to 162 outstanding partner companies.

Project signings included regional industrial digitalization co-development projects, Digital Cloud Factory projects, digital supply chain coordination projects, industrial-chain and supply-chain enterprise cooperation projects, international expansion cooperation projects and strategic cooperation projects with domestic industry associations and international organizations.
