Xinhe County is located in the southwest of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, at the southern foot of the Tian Mountains, the northern edge of the Tarim Basin, and the central part of Aksu Prefecture. It is an important ancient city on the ancient Silk Road, and also the political and economic center of ancient Qiuci, with a long history and splendid culture.
