China Nitrogen Fertilizer Export Data for July 2026
According to customs data, China's urea exports in July 2026 totalled 403,200 tonnes, an increase of 396,100 tonnes from the previous month, up 5,557.57% month on month. This was 164,000 tonnes lower than the same period last year, down 28.91% year on year. The average export price was USD 448.54/tonne. Cumulative exports from January to December 2026 totalled 906,800 tonnes, an increase of 262,300 tonnes from the same period last year, up 40.70% year on year.
According to customs data, China's urea imports in July 2025 totalled 35.42 tonnes, an increase of 13.24 tonnes from the previous month, up 59.72% month on month. This was 497.46 tonnes lower than the same period last year, down 93.35% year on year. The average import price was USD 2,452.68/tonne. Cumulative imports from January to December 2026 totalled 868.73 tonnes, a decrease of 954.61 tonnes from the previous year, down 52.36% year on year.
China's urea export destinations in July 2026 included Nepal, India, Bangladesh, South Korea, Vietnam, Australia, Ecuador, Colombia, Tanzania and Taiwan, accounting for 21%, 13%, 12%, 10%, 9%, 8%, 7%, 5% and 3% of total exports, respectively.
China Ammonium Sulfate Export Data:
According to customs data, China's ammonium sulfate exports in July 2026 totalled 1.3072 million tonnes, down 489,600 tonnes from the previous month, a decrease of 27.25% month on month. This was 897,700 tonnes lower than the same period last year, down 40.71% year on year. The average export price was USD 218.66/tonne. Cumulative exports from January to December 2026 totalled 11.4818 million tonnes, an increase of 443,400 tonnes from the same period last year, up 4.02% year on year.
China's ammonium sulfate export destinations in July 2026 included Brazil, India, New Zealand, Indonesia, Myanmar, South Africa, Lithuania, Thailand, the Philippines and Ukraine, accounting for 30%, 17%, 7%, 7%, 5%, 4%, 4%, 3%, 3% and 3% of total exports, respectively.
China Ammonium Chloride Export Data:
According to customs data, China's ammonium chloride exports in July 2026 totalled 59,400 tonnes, down 47,500 tonnes from the previous month, a decrease of 44.44% month on month. This was 114,800 tonnes lower than the same period last year, down 65.90% year on year. The average export price was USD 78.53/tonne. Cumulative exports from January to December 2026 totalled 1.2833 million tonnes, an increase of 19,900 tonnes from the same period last year, up 1.57% year on year.
China's ammonium chloride export destinations in July 2026 included Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan, accounting for 45%, 29%, 20%, 4% and 1% of total exports, respectively.
