In November 2023, China exported 515,500 tons of urea, up 38.36% year-on-year but down 8.21% month-on-month, with an average export price of $372.25 per ton. Cumulative exports from January to November reached 3,911,100 tons, a 70.28% increase compared to the same period last year. Imports fell sharply to 20.84 tons in November, down 87.62% year-on-year and 12.25% from October, at an average import price of $4,467.82 per ton. Total imports for the first eleven months were 2,225.72 tons, down 45.27% annually. The top nine destinations for Chinese urea exports were India (50%), South Korea (13%), the Philippines (8%), Mexico (7%), Malaysia (5%), Sri Lanka (5%), Brazil (3%), Peru (1%), and Nepal (1%).
