As of October 30, 2023, monoammonium phosphate (MAP) prices show mixed trends: 55% powdered MAP rose 4.44% to 3,237.50, while granular remained stable at 2,820.00; 58% powdered increased 3.32%. Diammonium phosphate (DAP) prices also edged up, with 64% granular DAP at 3,791.67 (+0.20%), and lower-grade variants posting stronger gains. Raw material costs—phosphate ore and synthetic ammonia—are expected to rise, supporting slight price fluctuations in the near term. The domestic MAP production operating rate dropped to 53.44% (down 9.50% MoM), while DAP operations improved to 49.48% (+7.44% MoM). Monthly MAP output fell 13.33% to 919,300 tons but remains up 21.38% YoY. Exports of MAP plunged in September, down 72.86% MoM and 63.99% YoY, averaging $527.76/ton.
