The Bonded Logistics Center in the Jingtang Port Area of Tangshan Port, under Hebei Port Group, ranked first nationwide in February in terms of import and export value.
On March 23, it was learned from the Hebei Port Group that in February this year, the Tangshan Port Jingtang Port Area Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) of the Hebei Port Group completed an import and export trade volume of 2.5 billion yuan, ranking first among 89 similar bonded logistics centers nationwide, setting a new historical high.
As an important bonded logistics hub in the Bohai Rim region, the Jingtang Port Area Bonded Logistics Center relies on the advantages of a deep-water port and complete port facilities to continuously optimize customs clearance and supervision processes, improve operational efficiency, and achieve simultaneous growth in business volume and quality.
In recent years, the Jingtang Port Area Bonded Logistics Center has seized the opportunity of Hebei's business environment optimization, focusing on the main business of bonded logistics for bulk commodities with the support of customs assistance and related policies. It has deeply cultivated specialized businesses such as bonded warehousing of steel, continuously improving platform functions and expanding the market, resulting in annual growth in business scale: the bonded warehousing business for steel has steadily expanded, with the scale of foreign trade steel entering the area and single-day storage volumes repeatedly hitting new highs, covering diverse international markets; the volume of coking coal entering the area has maintained stable growth, providing reliable support for the production of downstream coking and steel enterprises.
In the future, the Jingtang Port Area Bonded Logistics Center will continue to amplify the platform effect, make good use of customs facilitation supervision measures, optimize the full-process logistics services for bulk commodities, strengthen core cargo business, and accelerate the creation of a nationally leading bonded logistics hub for bulk commodities, injecting stronger momentum into the high-quality development of foreign trade in Hebei and Tangshan.
