In the first quarter, Chongqing’s shipments via the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor increased by more than 30% year on year.
On April 21, a train fully loaded with motorcycle parts, automobile parts, and "Chongqing-made" chemical products slowly departed from Chongqing Tuanjiecun Station along the New Western Land-Sea Corridor. This is a reflection of the regular operation of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor railway trains.
According to data from the Chongqing Railway Logistics Center of China Railway Chengdu Group, in the first quarter of this year, the operation of the New Western Land-Sea Corridor trains in the Chongqing area continued to grow. In the first quarter, Chongqing dispatched over 400 trains and loaded nearly 17,000 cars, an increase of over 30% compared to the same period last year, achieving growth in both the number of trains and the volume of loaded cars.
