Binzhou Port Area of Bohai Bay Port in Shandong Province has surpassed 100,000 metric tons of round-the-clock cargo throughput.
On March 21, the day and night throughput at Binzhou Port Area of Bohai Bay Port in Shandong reached 102,160 tons, marking the first time the daily throughput exceeded 100,000 tons since the opening of Binzhou Port, signifying a new level in production organization, operational efficiency, and comprehensive support capabilities of the port area.
Faced with the concentrated arrival of oil, LPG, and bulk cargo ships, the Binzhou Port Dispatch Command Center adheres to the "solution-oriented thinking" and efficiently coordinates operations. Bulk cargo ships effectively use the "hot berth connection" mode, significantly reducing idle berth waiting time, successfully completing two sets of hot berth connection operations on the day; in terms of hazardous chemical ship operations, the port area proactively strengthens coordination with maritime, customs, border inspection, pilotage, and other units, establishing an efficient communication mechanism. The operation team combines real-time tide data to accurately calculate key parameters such as ship draft and speed, ensuring draft safety is met, relying on the strong support of Binzhou Maritime Bureau, achieving simultaneous berthing operations of one LPG ship and two deep-draft crude oil ships within the same high tide period.
Faced with production peaks, Binzhou Port's various operational units for port gas, oil, and bulk cargo fully tackle challenges and efficiently coordinate, maintaining compact and orderly operations on the production front line. For LPG ship operations, Binzhou Port Gas Company proactively connects with customs to optimize clearance processes, using the gap during arm connection operations to simultaneously complete weight identification and customs clearance, significantly improving ship clearance efficiency; the oil terminal compresses measurement and tank closing operation times, efficiently completing operations for two crude oil ships within 18 hours, ensuring the safe departure of three hazardous chemical ships during the daytime the next day; the bulk cargo terminal implements standardized production organization, applying "quick berth, quick unload, quick departure" operations for bauxite ships, coordinating production, machinery, personnel, and other resources to achieve "zero waiting" in all operational links.
Next, Bohai Bay Port Binzhou Port Area will take the good results achieved in this production challenge as a new starting point, closely following the main line of "strengthening the foundation and comprehensively improving quality," continuously optimizing navigation scheduling and production organization, constantly providing efficient, convenient, and high-quality port services to customers, striving to promote high-quality development of the port to a new level.
