According to customs data, in February 2024, China's MAP export volume was 14,400 tons, a decrease of 13,230 tons compared to the same period last year, marking a 90.18% year-on-year decrease; this is also a 7,050-ton decrease from the previous month, an 83.03% month-on-month decrease. The average export price for the month was $571.14 per ton. From January to February 2024, the cumulative export volume totaled 99,300 tons, a decrease of 1,937,000 tons compared to last year, reflecting a 95.12% year-on-year decrease.

In February 2024, China's MAP import volume was 945.13 tons, an increase of 944.88 tons from the same period last year, which is an astonishing 377,950.00% year-on-year increase; this is also a 717.91-ton increase from the previous month, a 315.95% month-on-month increase. The average import price for the month was $361.60 per ton. From January to February 2024, the cumulative import volume was 1,172.35 tons, a decrease of 28.72 tons from last year, a 2.39% year-on-year decrease.

The top four countries for China's MAP exports in February 2024 were Australia, Malaysia, India, and Italy, accounting for 77%, 7%, 4%, and 4% of the total export volume, respectively.

Diammonium Phosphate (DAP)

According to customs data, in February 2024, China's DAP export volume was 7,100 tons, a decrease of 8,720 tons compared to the same period last year, marking a 92.45% year-on-year decrease; this is also a 10,110-ton decrease from the previous month, a 93.42% month-on-month decrease. The average export price for the month was $605.01 per ton. From January to February 2024, the cumulative export volume was 115,400 tons, a decrease of 4,920,700 tons compared to last year, reflecting a 97.71% year-on-year decrease.

In February 2024, China's DAP import volume was 0.45 tons, an increase of 0.25 tons from the same period last year, a 126.00% year-on-year increase; this is also a 39.80-ton decrease from the previous month, a 98.88% month-on-month decrease. The average import price for the month was $5,256.64 per ton. From January to February 2024, the cumulative import volume was 40.70 tons, an increase of 40.50 tons from last year, a staggering 20,251.00% year-on-year increase.

The main countries for China's DAP exports in February 2024 were India and Japan, accounting for 70% and 30% of the total export volume, respectively.
