Highlights at a glance
This week, domestic phosphate fertilizer markets saw continued downward price adjustments amid weak demand. Monoammonium Phosphate (MAP) prices declined across grades, with average index drops of 1.11% to 1.93%, as off-season conditions and low transaction activity prevailed. Despite some order support from minimum guarantee policies, pre-orders are shrinking, and market sentiment remains soft. Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) prices remained largely stable but face downward pressure due to insufficient domestic demand and falling international prices. Operational rates for both MAP and DAP decreased slightly week-on-week but remain above year-earlier levels. Production volumes declined marginally but stayed elevated compared to last year. Port inventories were stable for MAP at 113,000 tons (up 34.52% YoY), while DAP inventories held at 127,000 tons (down 20.28% YoY). With limited agricultural demand post-spring planting and weak industrial uptake, the market outlook remains subdued. MAP pr
