Delivered prices to India are now estimated at USD 1,100-1,102/tonne. Freight costs for shipments to India’s east coast are assessed at USD 140-142/tonne. Meanwhile, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has maintained its September sulfur price at USD 865/tonne FOB Kuwait, unchanged from August. Freight for cargo to Chinese ports ranges between USD 145-160/tonne, with additional surcharges due to navigation risks in the Strait of Hormuz reaching USD 200/tonne.
