A critical period for autumn grain production is underway in China, marked by severe weather and frequent pest outbreaks. To ensure a successful harvest, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs has launched a 100-day campaign, deploying over 100 officials and 354 experts to 27 grain-producing provinces. These teams provide frontline guidance on disaster prevention, yield enhancement, and field management. Targeting issues like soybean weakness, corn nutrient deficiency, and widespread pests—including rice "two migration" pests and corn armyworms—the ministry has issued seven technical guidelines with the National Agricultural Technology Center. Specialized trainings and regional guidance rounds have been conducted to strengthen water and fertilizer management, control diseases and pests, support grain filling, and safeguard crop health, leaving no stone unturned in securing a bountiful autumn harvest.
