The Baota Waterway along the Yangtze River Nanjing Channel Bureau's jurisdiction gathers key backbone enterprises such as Yangzi Petrochemical, Yangzi BASF, Nanjing Iron and Steel, Nanjing Thermal Power, and Nanjing Chemical. It serves as the core logistics channel for the transportation of industrial raw materials and the outbound shipment of products in the region. The team comprehensively sorted out enterprise demands, promptly responded to requests for improving navigation capacity, and investigated key issues of concern to enterprises, such as channel upgrades, navigation aid facility enhancements, and the application of smart channel scenarios. They established and refined a list of enterprise demands while relying on precise data collected during the research to provide strong support for the feasibility study of upgrading the Baota Waterway. This effort effectively transforms enterprises' urgent needs into concrete and practical service measures and converts precise research results into tangible outcomes that support high-quality enterprise development.

In recent years, the Yangtze River Nanjing Channel Bureau has consistently focused on the main line of serving the high-quality development of the local economy. It has adhered to proactive engagement and precise empowerment, continuously optimized the service system, strengthened channel support capabilities, and concentrated on the demands of port and shipping enterprises for quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and transformation.
