60% potassium chloride packaging; 50 kg
I. Basic Product Specifications
This product is potassium chloride fertilizer with potassium oxide (K₂O) content of not less than 60%, corresponding to potassium chloride (KCl) purity of about 95%-96%. The product is usually in the form of white, light red or light pink crystals/granules. Packaged in standard 50 kg woven bags, it is one of the common specifications for bulk trade and distribution in domestic and foreign markets.
II. Main Uses
Direct Application: As a potassium fertilizer, it supplements potassium elements for crops.
Processing Raw Material: It serves as the core potassium source for manufacturing compound fertilizers (e.g., NPK), bulk blending fertilizers (BB fertilizers) and water-soluble fertilizers.
Industrial Application: It is used as a chemical raw material for producing other potassium compounds such as potassium hydroxide and potassium carbonate.
III. Core Product Characteristics
High-Concentration Potassium Source: The 60% K₂O content meets the mainstream high-concentration potassium fertilizer standard, which can efficiently supplement soil potassium elements.
Chloride-Containing Characteristic: The product contains chloride ions (Cl⁻, about 47%). This makes it a cost-effective potassium source for chloride-loving or chloride-tolerant crops, but also means it is strictly prohibited for chloride-sensitive crops.
Physical Properties: It has good solubility and certain hygroscopicity. Granular products usually have better fluidity than powdered products.
IV. Key Points for Agricultural Application
Suitable Crops: It is very suitable for chloride-tolerant crops such as rice, cotton, wheat, corn, sugar beets, amaranth and sorghum.
Prohibited Crops: It is strictly prohibited for chloride-sensitive crops including tobacco, potatoes, citrus, grapes, tea trees, watermelons, peppers, some beans and lettuce, to avoid seriously affecting product quality such as flammability, taste and starch content.
Application Recommendations:
It can be used as base fertilizer or topdressing, and deep application with soil covering is recommended.
The application rate should be determined according to the available potassium content of soil and the target yield of crops.
It can be used in combination with nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizers such as urea and ammonium phosphate, but separate application or immediate use after mixing is recommended.
