Fosetyl-Aluminium Product Introduction
Fosetyl-Aluminium (usually referring to aluminium triethylphosphonate) is a very important organophosphorus systemic fungicide, widely used in agriculture to control various plant diseases caused by oomycete fungi.
I. Mechanism of Action
Fosetyl-Aluminium is an organophosphorus systemic fungicide with bidirectional translocation function. It can be absorbed by crop roots and transported to the above-ground stems and leaves, and can also be absorbed by upper leaves and transported to basal leaves. Its main mechanism of action is to inhibit the spore germination of pathogenic fungi and prevent the growth of mycelia.
II. Control Objects
Vegetable diseases: It has a good control effect on downy mildew and blight of cucumbers, melons, watermelons and other cucurbit crops; late blight and ring rot of tomatoes; phytophthora blight of eggplants; blight of peppers; late blight of potatoes, etc.
Fruit tree diseases: It can be used to control downy mildew and brown spot of apples, grapes, pears and other fruit trees; root rot and stem canker of citrus; downy mildew of lychees, etc.
Diseases of other crops: It also has a certain control effect on tobacco black shank, cotton blight, canker on tapped surfaces of rubber trees, rice neck blast and sheath blight, pepper blight, etc.
III. Usage Methods
Foliar spray: To control vegetable downy mildew, 40% wettable powder diluted 200-300 times can be used for spraying. Start at the initial stage of the disease, spray once every 10 days or so, for a total of 2-5 times. For controlling tomato late blight, cucumber blight, etc., use 40% wettable powder diluted 200-300 times for spraying, starting at the initial stage of the disease, spray once every 7 days, and spray continuously for 3 times.
Soil drenching: For some soil-borne diseases, such as citrus root rot, fosetyl-aluminium can be prepared into a solution of a certain concentration for soil drenching, so that the agent is absorbed by the roots and transported to various parts of the plant to play its role.
Seed soaking: To control certain seed-borne diseases, the seed soaking method can be adopted. Soak the seeds in fosetyl-aluminium solution for a period of time, then take them out, dry them and sow, which can effectively prevent seedling diseases.
