Light yellow liquid with garlic smell, boiling point 100℃/1.80Pa, vapor pressure 1.24×10－4Pa (25℃), relative density 1.455 (20℃), KowlogP=4.44, solubility in water 28mg/L (25℃), miscible with most organic solvents, relatively stable under neutral and slightly acidic conditions, unstable in alkaline environment.
1.Features
Profenofos is an organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide, a cholinesterase inhibitor, with contact, stomach poison and systemic effects, broad spectrum, high efficiency, and good permeability on plant leaves. It acts quickly, has ovicidal activity, and is still effective against pests that have developed resistance to other organophosphorus and pyrethroid ingredients. It is an effective agent for the prevention and control of resistant cotton bollworms. In areas where resistance occurs, it can be mixed with other pyrethroid or organophosphorus insecticides to maximize the efficacy of Profenofos.
2. Main uses
1) Asymmetric organophosphorus insecticide. It has contact and stomach poisoning effects, no systemic effects, and a broad insecticide spectrum. It can control harmful insects and mites in cotton and vegetable fields. The application dosage is: 2.5-5.0g active ingredient/100m2 for piercing-sucking pests and mites; 6.7-12g active ingredient/100m2 for chewing insects.
2) It is used to control various pests of crops such as cotton, vegetables, and fruit trees, especially for resistant cotton bollworms.
3) It is a three-way asymmetric non-systemic broad-spectrum insecticide with contact and stomach poisoning effects, and can prevent and control pests and mites in cotton, vegetables, fruit trees, etc. The application dosage is based on the active ingredient, and is 16-32 grams/mu for piercing-sucking insects and mites, and 30-80 grams/mu for chewing insects. It is particularly effective against resistant bollworms, and the application amount is 30-50 grams/mu of preparation.
